Rukket Golf Tips: Chipping - Trajectory and Club Selection

Hey Rukket Nation, Henry Fall and Dana Finkelstein here from the LPGA Tour. Today, we're diving into an important chipping tip – club selection and trajectory control. While we all love the fancy backspin shots, they might not always be the best choice for consistent results.

Instead, consider the situation and opt for a soft landing with controlled rollout. Dana, we've got two clubs – the trusty 54-degree wedge and the versatile 58-degree wedge.

Dana explains that the 54-degree wedge is great when you have some green to work with and need to carry a certain distance before allowing the ball to roll out. On the other hand, the 58-degree wedge provides higher trajectory and quick stopping power.

Making a slight adjustment in ball position can change the height and trajectory of your chip shots significantly. Don't hesitate to experiment with different clubs to achieve the desired outcome. Remember, it's not always about excessive backspin – sometimes a controlled approach yields better results. Give it a try and improve your chipping game.
